Role Accountabilities:

  • Control AR balance ensuring money is received within terms of customer agreements.
  • Track, monitor, process payments and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all receipts from customers are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Accurately record, investigate, and contest deductions are taken that do not align with the customer contract.
  • Process all customer chargebacks including returns and other allowances in line with Group Policies.
  • Send and reconcile customer statements on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain customer support files, and related customer documentations thoroughly and accurately.
  • Assist with Month End Process


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Spanish proficiency
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Accounting experience of 3-5 years required, CPG experience a plus
  • Experience with EDI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, sum-if, index-match, etc) and financial systems savviness
  • Record of process improvements
  • NetSuite experience is preferable
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced start-up environment
  • Knowledge of taxation issues and experience with sales corporate taxes
  • Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities
  • Must be detailed-oriented and organize
