How You'll Perform the Role The Director of Sales will support our Beverage Packaging Business Unit working with large scale dairy and juice producers. Our team offers the complete suite of products including the juice/dairy machine fillers to the product packaging found on the shelf. The Director, Sales - National Accounts is responsible for assisting in the development of sales strategies and leading the team to deploy strategies and tactics to drive new, profitable sales growth while sustaining existing sales within the Food, Grocery and Retail business unit. This position will report to the Vice President, Sales - Beverage Sales and work in close collaboration with teams in Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and HR. S/he will direct a team of National Accounts Managers across the US. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Vice President, Sales to assist in the development of Sales strategies that align to key strategic business goals, focusing on revenue, profitability, and market share Leadership of the team to execute sales plans within the assigned territory, focusing on volume, profit, and growth Develop and cultivate key relationships within the assigned channels, focusing on top-to-top relationships with growth-oriented customers and distributors on incremental volume Obtain voice of customer and understand product needs and market trends through customer visits, attending trade shows, and relays that information to key stakeholders What We Need From You Critical Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is required 10+ years' sales experience in a related or relevant industry; food packaging preferred Experience leading sales professionals and deploying sales strategies Proven track record and ability to drive new, profitable sales growth Strong cross-functional business acumen and understanding Frequent domestic travel What You'll Get From Us Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance (including Telehealth options) as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
