About Pelsis

Pelsis Group is a global provider of pest management solutions, meeting both professional and consumer needs with a broad span of products and brands. We manufacture and distribute established pest control equipment brands like B&G Equipment, Bird B Gone, Brandenburg, and Synergetic.

This role reports to the Marketing Director, North America, but is tightly connected to a global team of designers under the oversight of the Group Design Manager. The global connection leverages a group approach to driving brand consistency across the Pelsis business, while the regional focus executes projects relevant to a North American audience.

Position Summary

At Pelsis North America, we see graphic design as the glue that connects many aspects of our businesses. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects with the end user. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Objectives

Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals

Establish creative direction for the company, evolve, and maintain brand guidelines

Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately

Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints

Effectively output projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Examine existing processes, identifying areas of improvement, and creating solutions

Organize, update, and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video. Creating and maintaining organized file structures is critical.


Responsibilities

Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or brands for a wide range of materials that may include web design, presentations, tradeshow signage, newsletters, and product marketing materials

Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within a brand identity

Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout

Manage the design, pre-press, and uploading process of all project material

Provide recommendations for improving existing brand assets including but not limited to packaging, advertising, and sales collateral

Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions

Visit Santa Ana office to print documents for sales team as needed.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline

Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills

5+ years experience design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud

In-house design experience preferred

Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent eye for detail

Fluent in Mac and PC

Experience organizing and managing files within Sharepoint preferred


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

5+ years in professional graphic design, preferably working with consumer brands and commercial (B2B) products

Knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot or other content management system a plus but not required

Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software

Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training

Experience with Environmental Services, Pest Control, and[TM1] Manufacturing preferred but not required
