Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of a project-specific safety program on complex construction projects
  • Ensure safety and health policies and procedures are being adhered to in accordance with OSHA, state, and local regulations, and the Site-Specific Safety Plan
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure that health and safety activities are incorporated effectively into project work plans
  • Verify subcontractors are completing work in accordance with the Site-Specific Safety Plan
  • Facilitate project safety orientation and training requirements
  • Conduct safety inspections and document findings and corrective actions
  • Ensure emergency action plans are in place and working effectively
  • Provide mentoring, direction, and subject matter expertise to project personnel
  • Communicate effectively with representatives of regulatory agencies/customers to resolve compliance issues and provide requested information
  • Support incident investigations and ensure accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with company and project requirements
  • Maintain open communication with the safety management and project supervision
  • Champion our SEE Safety In Action philosophy to achieve zero-incident project completion
  • We have the resources and expertise to contribute to a project at the feasibility and planning stage, navigate the regulatory and permitting requirements, develop detailed designs, self-perform construction, and participate in startup, testing, and commissioning

Opening for a Safety Manager with strong Infrastructure and Heavy Civil experience to join our growing construction division. The Safety Manager will oversee all aspects of a project-specific safety program on complex construction projects. The person selected for this role will assist project and safety management.
