JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Sale Analyst is responsible for supporting sales fundamentals. This role serves as the primary point of contact internally and externally for sales data analytics, and account maintenance, including pricing, discount and promotional programs, chargeback maintenance and new item set-ups. The Sales Analyst will own the relationship with the Walmart Replenishment team to ensure proper inventory levels and order planning. The Sales Analyst will also serve as the primary information specialist for Walmart and Sam’s Club.


The Sales Analyst is expected to pull, organize and distribute weekly sales data, recognize trends and communicate them to Sales. Over time, the Sales Analyst is expected to be an expert in competitive retailers, competitive brands, and retail pricing, using this information internally to best help Sales position products and promotions with customers.


Our ideal candidate will have the capability to effectively work with multiple with internal sales, as well as customers. Have the ability to organize and deliver analytics so that it can be used to help to drive the business. Desired attributes would also include a solid knowledge of Retail Link and strong communications and problem-solving skills.


RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Liaison for sales in regard to follow up on projects, communication of deadlines, and customer expectations.
  • Assists in creating various reports including sales reports, customer presentations, financial summaries, profitability, budget and business trackers while ensuring the accuracy of the data. Analytical expectations for Sales Support Specialists to be insightful of issues, able to review information and make recommendations as needed.
  • Attend relevant conference calls and meetings and assist with trade show planning, set up, organization and execution.
  • Attend Retail Link classes to keep up on latest system updates.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems surrounding ordering, invoicing, and inventory issues, and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate notifications to sales and customers on pertinent issues.
  • Respond directly to customers both on the phone and through email and assist with questions, issue resolution and general management of accounts.
  • On occasion travel with sales representatives to meetings, and or shows to provide subject matter expertise. Help with meeting notes and follow up.
  • Backup administrative staff, as needed, and take on additional tasks as needed or assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of Walmart/Retail Link experience in similar role.
  • The candidate must have up to date intimate knowledge of Retail Link.
  • Have the ability to navigate Retail Link in order to effectively and efficiently manage data regarding item set ups, sales data retrieval, and more.
  • Have knowledge of Walmart systems and procedures and have the ability to get items on line with proper detail.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have superior analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Must be have the ability to work in an environment requires multitasking.
  • Must have the ability to handle timeline pressures and varying workloads.
  • Must be able to take ownership of position. To have the ability and desire to recognize areas needing improvement and suggest solutions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively internally with Funrise team including Sales, Marketing, Product development, and Accounting.
  • Must be able to travel on occasion to offsite meetings nationwide.


Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Compensation range: $80k-$90k
