The structured internship opportunity is designed to give students exposure to the wine and spirits industry and broad experience in various aspects of the relationship between marketing, sales, and distribution.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with a variety of teams to become familiar in all aspects of the Sales DivisionsSupport the Sales departments which include, but are not limited to Category Management, Distribution Warehouse Sales (DWS), Point of Sales (POS), Chain Merchandising Divisions and GraphicsParticipate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as availableParticipate in the setup, working off and tear down of any special events, tastings, or functions as directed by the SupervisorAssist with our On-Premise SurveysSupport the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by student's specific learning goalsPerform other job-related duties as assignedAdditional Primary ResponsibilitiesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experienceMaintain at a minimum a 2.0 GPA (Grade Point Average)Must be at least 21 years of agePhysical DemandsPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine. Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
