Position Overview:

We are seeking a fast-paced, technically skilled Creative Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our art department. In this role, you’ll lead a talented team of in-house and remote designers, ensuring that all creative work is delivered quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for managing freelancers, overseeing projects, hiring top talent, and organizing our digital assets. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the product development or advertising industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Freelancers Management: Coordinate and oversee the work of freelancers, ensuring clear communication, timely task completion, and smooth workflow, even under challenging circumstances.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the creation and execution of visual content, ensuring alignment with our brand and client needs, delivered with speed and precision.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assist in identifying and hiring the best creative talent to join our team, ensuring a strong cultural and skill fit.
  • Mood Board & Collection Development: Create mood boards and develop new art collections that reflect current home decor trends and align with our marketing strategies.
  • Digital Asset Management: Maintain and organize our internal digital asset management system (ADA), ensuring all artwork is properly stored, categorized, and easily accessible.
  • Technical Mastery: Utilize tools like Excel, Photoshop, and other essential software to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor your team, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and ensure high-quality output.
  • Special Projects: Lead special projects as needed, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the company’s objectives.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage the department budget, including expenses related to freelance work and project resources.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry Experience: Preference for candidates with a background in product development or advertising.
  • Speed and Efficiency: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects without compromising on quality.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are highly skilled in tools like Excel, Photoshop, and digital asset management systems, and can leverage technology to enhance workflow.
  • Leadership: You’re an inspiring leader who can manage and mentor a team, giving clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Creative Vision: You have a keen eye for design and can create mood boards and collections that are not only on-trend but also align with our brand identity.
  • Organizational Skills: You excel at organizing projects and digital assets, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a creative operations or project management role, preferably within the product development or advertising industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing both in-house and remote teams.
  • Expertise in Excel, Photoshop, and other essential software tools.
  • Experience in digital asset management and project management systems like Wrike.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
