Job Summary: As an Instructional Design Contractor within the Coinbase Learning team, you will play a pivotal role in developing engaging and effective learning solutions tailored to our unique environment. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, you will analyze learning needs, design courses, and craft instructional materials to enhance our learners' experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, passion for learning, and exceptional project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning objectives and target audience.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning gaps to determine appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, one-pagers, and assessments.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Utilize multimedia tools and technologies to enhance learning content, such as graphics, animations, videos, and interactive simulations.
  • Ensure content accessibility and inclusivity, adhering to relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to validate content accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high quality standard.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and e-learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability amid an ever-changing environment.
  • Proficiency in learning tools and platforms (bonus: experience using Docebo and Articulate Rise/Storyline).
  • Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.
