Overview of the Staff Accountant Role:

  • Accurate Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation and post to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconciliation Expertise: Complete general ledger account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements and contributing to a smooth audit process.
  • Month-End Excellence: Assist with the month-end close process, showcasing your commitment to timely and accurate financial reporting.


Preferred Qualifications for a Staff Accountant:

  • Educational Excellence: Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, highlighting your academic achievements.
  • Experience: Demonstrate 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, showcasing your proficiency in financial management.
  • Excel Proficiency: Possess proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, showcasing your analytical and data manipulation skills.
