Your role will be vital in promoting independence, mobility, and social integration for students with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges.Key Responsibilities:\tConduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities.\tDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and goals.\tProvide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functioning.\tCollaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities.\tAssist in the development of classroom modifications and adaptive equipment to support student participation.\tMonitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.\tProvide education and support to families regarding strategies to use at home to further assist in therapy.\tParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student progress and goals.\tMaintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.Education + Certification Requirements:\tMaster's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.\tValid Occupational Therapy license in Arizona.\tExperience working with children, particularly in educational settings, is preferred.\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.\tAbility to develop and implement effective therapy plans.\tFamiliarity with IEP development and documentation.\tStrong organizational and time-management skills.Connected Healthcare Job ID #132018.
