We want to talk to you if you are able to teach:Reading / Writing / Math / Study Skills to all elementary and middle schoolers; and/orAlgebra 2 and up / Chemistry and/or Physics / Study Skills to high schoolers; and/orCollege prep (SAT / ACT / College Essays and Applications)Responsibilities:Confidently tutor up to three students per hour on different subjects in our center.Teach students how to learn. Your strong growth mindset and welcoming personality will help each student excel and feel great about being here.Demonstrate a firm and loving nature with students, setting effective boundaries and helping them stretch academically Our kids look up to our coaches as mentors.Qualifications:Ability to work IN-PERSON (please do not apply if you cannot; we DO NOT have anything other than in-person opportunities).Ability to commit to at least one year with Tutoring Club (our students depend on it).Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, consisting of at least two, 3+ hour shifts per week, but the more the better (Saturdays are awesome, too).Ability to work SOME of the following: School Year - Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday 3:00pm to 7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm; (We begin at 9:00am during the summer.)A Bachelor's degree or are an exceptionally strong undergraduate student with at least 60 credit hours in college.Access to reliable transportation so you arrive on time.The ability to confidently tutor to three students at the table each hour in varying subjects.
