Are you an expert in Digital SAT and ACT test preparation? Novastar Prep is seeking dedicated in-person tutors to join our team. If you have a deep understanding of the test formats and a passion for helping students excel, this is your chance to make a significant impact. We offer in-person tutoring opportunities in Northern Virginia, including Great Falls, Vienna, Oakton, Herndon, Falls Church, McLean, Reston, and surrounding areas.

Subjects Tutoring Opportunities:

  • Digital SAT Preparation: Provide expert instruction on the Digital SAT test format, focusing on Reading, Writing & Language, and Math sections.
  • ACT Preparation: Guide students through the ACT test format, covering English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing sections.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Expert Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Digital SAT and ACT test formats and question types.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in traditional SAT or Digital SAT tutoring or teaching. If you have not tutored the Digital SAT before, you must be willing to familiarize yourself with the new format through our materials and online platform.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator, able to connect with students and explain test strategies.
  • Reliable Transportation: A dependable vehicle is necessary for travel to in-person sessions.
  • Tech Skills: Basic computer literacy is required for some teaching tools.
  • Commitment: Willingness to commit to at least one semester.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
