Modern Psychiatry and Wellness is a mental health treatment provider located in Hamilton, OH. Our mission is to provide holistic, evidence-based, and compassionate treatment to individuals suffering from mental illness, emotional pain, and addiction. We specialize in treating a range of health conditions, including mood, psychotic, anxiety, and cognitive disorders, as well as addiction to substances such as alcohol, heroin/opioids, and methamphetamine. Our services include individual therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, medication management, and outpatient medical withdrawal management (detox).
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Behavioral Health Counselor. The Behavioral Health Counselor will be responsible for providing individual therapy, conducting group therapy sessions, and assisting with medication management. They will also be involved in case management, training, and family therapy. The role requires extensive knowledge of psychology and mental health treatment.
Qualifications
- Case Management, Psychology, and Mental Health expertise
- Experience or training in Family Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Bachelor's degree in Social Worker
- Licensure or certification in Counseling or relevant field
