Aspen One enables the expansion of the Aspen brand and ethos globally by developing enhanced strategies and services to support growth and accelerate investment across ski, hospitality, retail, experiences, and clubs.  Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for supervision and control of the accounts payable function for all of Aspen One (including Aspen Hospitality).  They will provide leadership, guidance, and staff development to drive operational excellence. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.The budgeted salary range for this position is $71,304 to $92,600. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted until August 1, 2025.  Essential Job Functions/Key Job ResponsibilitiesManage and Supervise Accounts Payable StaffEnsure that invoice entry is accurate and timely and in line with company policyEnsure that the A/P payment process is accurate, issued on schedule, to terms and in line with company policyManage and facilitate annual 1099 processRemain familiar with current and new sales and use tax regulations and apply taxes correctlyReconcile vendor statements on a timely basis and resolve discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve vendor disputesMaintain high skill level in accounting software and Excel and train staff on the sameOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience required3-5 years accounting experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities  Proficient knowledge of 1099 processesProficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles    Proficient Excel skillsProficient Oracle Enterprise 1 experience preferredHigh attention to detail with a high level of accuracyStrong professional communication skills for dealing with: employees, co-workers, management, and vendorsAbility to work collaboratively & effectively with cross-functional leaders and their teamsExcellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a teamExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to handle business math calculations quickly and accuratelyAbility to manage a team of direct reportsAdditional InformationWork Environment and Physical DemandsAbility to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements  No adverse or hazardous conditions Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50) Job Benefits This position is classified as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits: Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.   Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Programs Flexible Spending Account Programs Life Insurance Programs Paid Time Off Programs Paid Leave Programs 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Ski Pass and Dependent Ski Passes  Other company perks The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
