Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Engineer at Fulton Bellows, LLC in Knoxville, TN. The Process Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the design, control and analytical work for various products. The Process Engineer will work to improve processes for various industries such as Critical Service Valves, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Electrical Production, Gas Turbines, Fuel Cells, Medical & Measurement & Control.


Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage various projects as assigned
  • Support & troubleshoot production activities as assigned
  • Lead & implement continuous improvement activities
  • Lead process development & process documentation activities to insure process produce quality parts at rate to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
  •  Audit production processes and lead RCCA activities.
  • Provide direct interface with customers concerning assigned projects
  • Basic area 5S & other duties as assigned
  • Understand, and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations
  • Support all company goals and objectives
  • Promote and support a total quality management process


Qualifications

  • Process Control and Process Engineering skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or program management
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • BS Mechanical Engineering or 5-10 years related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool & die making and support
