Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing or Process Engineer to oversee the design, operation, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of mechanical assembly and clean room processes.


Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm


Salary: $75k-85k based on experience


Key Responsibilities:


  • Possess a strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience in product development, system design, and implementation for manufacturing.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes based on client specifications, collaborating closely with the project team.
  • Collaborate with the project team to convert client needs into tangible deliverables.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate the necessary resources to define project scope.
  • Design, configure, and refine industrial processes from the initial concept through to startup and certification.
  • Evaluate processes, gather data, and perform detailed analyses.
  • Establish best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency and output quality.
  • Oversee changes in project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Monitor project performance using relevant tools and techniques, providing reports and escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Develop training programs and work instructions for processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments to mitigate project risks.
  • Compile and maintain comprehensive project documentation and operational instructions.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, OR equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • CAD/CAM experience, preferably with Solidworks.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
  • A strong preference for familiarity with Manufacturing Technology, including machining, sheet metal, assembly, testing, and qualification.
  • Competence in reading and creating design prints, understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and using inspection equipment and gauges.
  • Capable of driving technological improvements, enhancing equipment efficiency, improving quality, and reducing costs.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels and functions within the organization.
