Teamsoft IT Solution’s client is looking for a Direct Hire Field Service Engineer. This position is hybrid, in Germantown, WI.
Job Summary:
- Install, set up, and configure Markforged 3D printers at customer sites.
- Use “design for additive manufacturing” (DFAM) techniques to design tooling and manufacturing aids for customer benchmarking and evaluation.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of Mark forged printers as well as the advanced software features of the Mark forged platform.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Markforged printers remotely or on-site.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of printers to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and customer support to address customer needs effectively.
- Document service activities, including maintenance procedures, troubleshooting steps, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with 3D printers, preferably Markforged printers, is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 50% travel).
- Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software is a plus.
- Certifications or training in additive manufacturing technologies is advantageous.
