Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Malvern, PA


Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and effective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java SE/EE, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/React is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
