Drywall FinisherEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Join drywall panels using tape and mud.Repair cracks and any other damage to drywall panels.Conceal any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.Layer mud to create flat surface(s).Sand down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.Manage and maintain all required equipment.Ensure materials and tools are used safely and effectively.Qualifications:Ability to life/handle sheets of drywall weighing up to 40 pounds.Work in a standing or kneeling position.Be able to work with arm above head.Be able to operate and maintain drywall mud specialized equipment.See and feel smoothness of wall/ceiling.Stand on a short step ladder (no more than 4 feet) to reach ceiling corner areas.Have basic knowledge of materials and tools used to perform tasks.Grasp, pull, push, and squeeze with both hands.3+ years experience preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift4x10No weekendsPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
