This role plays a critical part in a major decommissioning initiative aimed at transitioning from a legacy third-party reporting tool (Geneva) to newer technologies by 2027. If you're an expert in Oracle DB development, SQL, and looking for a challenging role in an agile, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from youKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data structures for various applications.Lead the transition from a legacy system (Geneva), leveraging your deep understanding of SQL and data management practices.Continuously improve products and processes while also expanding your skill set and embracing new technologies.Work in an agile environment, delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.Required Skills:8-10+ years of Oracle DB development experience.Strong SQL querying, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, partitioning.Experience in performance tuning, SQL Loader, Oracle AQ messaging.Python scripting, Shell scripting, Linux environments.Data analysis and design expertise.Agile methodology experience.5+ years in financial services (capital markets/prime brokerage preferred).Excellent communication with technical and business teams.Nice to Have:Knowledge of core Java.AWS Cloud experience.
