Creative Post Producer for Social Video

We are searching for a leader of our internal Social Video Team who can organize schedules and leave detailed, on-brand feedback for creatives. In this role you will lead an internal team of editors and occasionally work with freelance writers, colorists, sound designers, and content creators to achieve our client goals. This is a critical role in ensuring that videos are engaging, effectively communicate the intended message, polished, on-budget, and meets all client expectations.

What you’ll do
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: You will lead a small team of creatives, providing direction, feedback, schedules, and mentorship. 
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to discuss post-production needs, and interact politely and communicate clearly with our client’s creatives, producers, and strategists via emails, calls and in-person meetings. 
  • Post Production Scheduling: You will estimate edit hours needed per project and keep edits on budget. You will schedule achievable deadlines for editors and sometimes, as needed, other post freelance creatives too.
  • Feedback Direction: You will provide clear and concise internal feedback to creatives before the client does, and then you will clarify any questions editors have about client feedback.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the final product meets the high quality standards, including overseeing editing, sound, visual effects, and color correction.
  • Strategy Execution: You will ensure all edits match client Brand Guidelines and strategy goals. 
  • Media Management Leadership: Along with our Lead Editor, you will direct creators to where media can be found and create a media management plan with our Lead Editor for T13.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in social media.


What you bring
  • Leadership experience in social media supported by a great portfolio
  • Edit experience with Premiere Pro 
  • Experience with managing many edits at one time
  • Tech-savvy and up-to-date with emerging patterns in social media
  • The ability to write patient, thoughtful feedback to your team that can be easily executed and understood by creatives.
  • The ability to sync many creatives schedules with the clients schedule to meet deadlines.


What you don’t need to bring, but would be nice
  • The willingness to step in and edit a few projects as needed.
  • Familiarity with Frame.io
  • Familiarity with Ae, PS, Ai, Express, and other Adobe software



What you won’t need to do
  • You will not be scheduling social media posts
  • You will not be writing post descriptions
  • You will not be commenting/responding to followers
  • You will not be creating strategy


Our Company

Team Thirteen is a video production company who also works heavily in post production. We edit a variety of work such as social videos, documentaries, commercials, and more. Our clients vary from global tech leaders to companies in the outdoor industry.


Working Location:

We need our employees to work with us in our SLC office. Our office is close to i80 and i15, and 2 blocks from TRAX. We are open to some WFH days, depending on workloads. This is not a remote position.
