Job Summary

The Vendor Contract Analyst is a pivotal role within Our Client's Technology Organization (Strategic Supplier Management team), focusing on the comprehensive management of IT vendor relationships. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities from managing 50+ SOW’s, resolving contract issues, tracking vendor performance and managing risk for a development portfolio. The Analyst works closely with TO leadership, supply chain management, and other internal stakeholders to drive the success of the vendor management program. This position will focus on Software development, Interfaces, and Services along with Software licensing, development, and lifecycle management. The successful candidate will have a broad range of project management, procurement, and real-world experience.


Responsibilities

  • Document, Manage, Track and Lead the assigned portfolio to drive excellence in delivery, statistics, reporting wile managing relationships both internally and externally.
  • Vendor Management: Lead all aspects of vendor management, including contract issue resolution, quotes, approvals, requisitions, performance tracking, and communication.
  • Tracking vendor performance against agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Performance Tracking: Manage, track, and report on key milestones, deliverables, and associated payments on a 30–60-90-day rolling basis to the delivery leadership team.
  • Risk Management: Implement appropriate processes and controls to minimize risks, track performance, and optimize contract value.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Facilitate and report on customer satisfaction through regular surveys.
  • Contracting Model Support: Assist TO leaders in choosing the right contracting models based on business needs.
  • Procurement and Financial Management: Create and manage Procurement Requests (PRs), track Purchase Orders (POs) through completion, and handle invoicing related to milestones & deliverables.
  • SLA/KPI Tracking: Report and monitor SLAs and KPIs as per SOWs or orders to provide a transparent performance scorecard.
  • Supplier Business Reviews: Conduct regular reviews to assess vendor relationship health.
  • Continuous Planning: Engage in resilience and business continuity planning with third-party vendors.
  • Compliance and Improvement: Perform compliance assessments and participate in process or system improvement projects.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a subject matter expert on vendor management, ensuring TO customers and leaders are informed on contract and purchasing compliance.


Job Requirements

Education- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Procurement, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or IT. Experience and Skills

  • Proven vendor management experience and strong process redesign capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-resolution skills and understanding of supplier management and contract language specific to IT.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to work independently.
  • Desired experience in IT contract administration and familiarity with market research and vendor trends in the IT industry.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure services, technologies, and broad information technologies management.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure procurement and Data Analytics tools like Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with significant use of phone and computer.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to manage changing priorities.


The hourly pay rate range for this position is $35-$45/hour (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
