Location: Rockville, Maryland
First 30 days are fully on-site. The hybrid schedule begins after 30 days with 2 days from home and 3 days at the office.

Overview
The Product Marketing Manager – Molecular Biology assists with and facilitates the marketing processes for the Rockville business location. This is a hands-on position responsible for growing the company’s revenue and maximizing the profitability of the Molecular Biology product line by developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing programs. The role includes hybrid working capabilities after the successful completion of an individual's first thirty days.
Responsibilities
· Design and execute a marketing plan to increase market share and revenue for the molecular
biology product portfolio.
· Measure and report the impact of marketing campaigns and activities using OKR principles.
· Create innovative marketing tools such as web pages, datasheets, FAQs, blogs, videos, webinars, brochures, and more to promote the molecular biology product portfolio.
· Manage impactful product launches including communication strategy, market assessment,
pricing, competition, early adopter studies, demand generation, and development of sales tools.
· Work with R&D teams to develop new products and design product launches for online/offline
channels.
· Provide product positioning material and training for sales/distributor/technical support teams.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Operations, R&D, and Manufacturing to ensure all
products can be delivered with correct documents.
· Attend trade shows. Annual travel of 3-5 short trips (< 5 days) is required.
· Maintain, and upgrade product lines: cDNA clone, CRISPR, RNAi, Transfection reagents,
Lentivirus, PCR products
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications·
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline with good knowledge of molecular biology. Master’s degree/MBA preferred
· 3 years of marketing or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
· Good understanding of molecular biology techniques (Clones, cloning, PCR, CRISPR,
Lentivirus technology) and their applications
· Demonstrated knowledge of marketing tactics and practices. Previous experience in digital
marketing is a plus
· Excellent English writing, speaking, and proofreading skills are essential.
· Must be a team player with the ability and desire to collaborate with diverse staff and support
customers.
· Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft software (word processing, email, spreadsheet,
database,
· Strong project management skills
· Organized and self-motivated.
