Janitorial TechnicianJanitorial Technician Location: West Fargo, North Dakota Pay: Up to $22 DOE Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - FridayC&W Services is a leading provider of facility services, delivering innovative maintenance and janitorial solutions to keep our clients' operations running smoothly.Position OverviewThe Janitorial Technician is responsible for daily cleaning, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHere are just a few things you can expect to do daily:Team members must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment.Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to; perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms, and public areas in clean and orderly condition.Removes trash from offices and other work areas. Stripping and waxing of floors, burnishing waxed floors, cleaning, and maintaining carpeted floors, and floor scrubbing of ceramic tile floors. Assist other service personnel with minor facility service repair. Follow established routine. Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning machinery on a daily basis such as floor sweepers and brooms.Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.Compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.Communicates with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company's goals and objectivesMaintain personal tools required for your job.Meet physical requirements of the job.Maintain good attendance in accordance with Company policy.Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.QualificationsPrevious janitorial or custodial experience required; Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Must pass background check and drug screenPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
