Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy and Oversight

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to drive consistency, quality, and profitability across all restaurant locations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Area Operations Leaders and Franchisees to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, financial data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Learning and Development, Supply Chain, Culinary, Marketing, and HR, to ensure operational excellence and alignment with company standards.
  • Partner in the development and implementation of training programs for restaurant team members to enhance skills, performance, and guest experience.
  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize services and control costs
  • Develop and maintain operational budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Coach, and develop leaders, through timely performance and observation feedback and evaluations.
  • Conduct site visits with operations partners to ensure that the restaurant is meeting quality and operational standards.

Brand Reputation Management:

  • Maintains high product quality standards, consistency, and presentation across all cafes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensures the maintenance of a safe and harassment free workplace in all cafes and for all team members.
  • Monitors and analyzes sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.

Drive Winning Results:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of cafe professionals to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, maximize profitability, and expand into new markets.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends, competition, and best practices, and proactively introduce process improvements and innovation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving results in a multi-unit restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and technologies in restaurant operations
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth and success
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to think creatively and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including motivating and inspiring a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated financial understanding and experience in managing budgets and cost control.
