Sales Support SpecialistThis position supports the Area Sales Manager by providing end-to-end administrative support for the entire sales cycle across all Marine commercial products, with the primary goal of increasing the productivity of the Sales team to achieve and/or exceed business goals. Within this role you will be monitoring and updating your Area Sales Manager's opportunity pipeline, coordinating the execution of new agreements and renewals, and troubleshooting issues both internally and with customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end administrative support for the sales cycle including pipeline management, proposal development, opportunity updates, and monitoring the quote approval processMaintain customer folders with backup documentation and approvalsMaintain Account and contact records in SalesforceCoordinates contract requests and amendments with our legal teamManage contract and renewal execution via DocuSignWork closely with the respective ASMs and internal resources to escalate any issues that could impact our ability to close opportunitiesMaintain a strong working knowledge of DCLI offerings and Marketing materialsGain in-depth understanding of all sales processes, including new term leases and contract renewalsAssist with data integrity and audit efforts for the new leasing operating system and on-going related tasksProcess Improvements & SOP's.Salesforce ad-hoc reportingAs required, make outbound calls to potential customers, explaining initial requirements, and working closely with internal resources to close the saleQualificationsBachelor's degree in related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Transportation preferredTransportation industry experience a plus.Experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales or similar support rolesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProactive, willing to learn and strong team playerExcellent customer service and follow-up skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorHighly organized and able to multi-taskStrong attention to detailStrong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce or similar CRM platform, DocuSign) required.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screeningBenefitsWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
