About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and managing stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, preferably with experience in SAP or logistics/supply chain, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with C-suite executives and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders for transparency and alignment.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams on application and infrastructure projects.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues promptly.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to address their needs and manage expectations.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into project plans and decisions.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for successful project implementation.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.

Organizational Change Management:

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies.
  • Create and execute communication plans for stakeholders.
  • Assess organizational readiness and facilitate smooth transitions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Conduct project retrospectives to capture lessons learned for future projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management methodologies.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application development processes.
  • Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in organizational change management.
  • Experience leading SAP-related projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
