Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Company/Industry: Multi-service energy provider Location: Proximity to Westbury, NY Salary: Commensurate with experience + benefits Status: Direct Hire, FT, On-site Mon-Fri Key Responsibilities Oversee daily AP operations including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor management Accurately code capital, balance sheet, and operational costs Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Support month-end close and prepare AP metrics reports Analyze operating expenses and capital project costs Maintain documentation for audits and compliance Collaborate cross-functionally to improve AP workflows Train and support AP team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of experience in accounts payable Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with large datasets Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software Strong grasp of debits/credits and AP-related tax regulations Excellent organizational and analytical skills Effective communicator with internal teams and vendors Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
