Client is a highly successful insurance firm seeking an Account Manager to help guide and support each customer’s needs and provide them with innovative solutions while servicing accounts and further developing an efficient and profitable Commercial Lines Division.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a varied book of commercial businesses, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare applications, process renewals, and market new business opportunities.
- Provide claims assistance and ensure accurate and timely processing of all account-related documents.
- Review compliance of all service items with underwriting guidelines and authority.
- Handle day-to-day service needs such as policy changes, certificates of insurance, and billing inquiries.
- Engage in professional development through seminars and classes to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
- Execute data entry and manage client information within our systems with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Support the Division Manager and team with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Required: 2-20 (property and casualty) licenses.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an agency or similar industry setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with standard industry software.
- Industry designations or commitment to ongoing education is highly valued.
- Independent worker with a strong affinity for teamwork.
- Highly motivated with a drive to achieve excellence in client service.
- Effective communicator with strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
