Role Description

This is a full-time Technical Field Account Executive role at HOLMANS USA CORPORATION. The Technical Field Account Executive will manage and grow key accounts, drive sales and revenue, and develop long-term relationships with clients. This is a hybrid role, with the main office located in Knoxville, TN, but flexibility for some remote work is available.


To excel in HPE Datacenter and Client computing hardware sales, HOLMANS Account Executives (AEs) must blend technical knowledge, demonstrated sales experience, and industry insight. Here are the key technical requirements:


  1. HPE Product Portfolio Understanding: AEs must comprehensively know HPE's data center hardware products and services.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of data center and server architecture, storage systems, networking and virtualization.
  3. Competitor Awareness: Familiarity with competitors' offerings to effectively position HPE's solutions.
  4. Industry Standards and Trends: Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, and market trends.
  5. Solution Selling Skills: Proficiency in crafting tailored solutions that incorporate HPE products to meet client needs.
  6. Consultative Selling Approach: Ability to engage in consultative discussions with clients to understand their requirements.
  7. Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: Proficiency in showcasing HPE's products and services through technical presentations.
  8. Certifications and Training: Obtain relevant certifications to demonstrate proficiency and commitment to learning.
  9. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with HPE's technical teams to address complex customer requirements.
  10. Understanding of Data Center Operations: Basic knowledge of data center operations, including power and cooling considerations.
  11. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to convey technical information persuasively.


By fulfilling these requirements, HOLMANS AEs can effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and recommend suitable solutions to drive business growth.
