Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Delaware, OH 43015
Pay Rate: $ $20.00 - $23/hr. on W2.
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm
Duration: 5+ Months
*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Job Details:
- The primary responsibilities of this role include rooming patients face to face, taking vitals, refilling prescriptions, providing vaccinations, and drawing labs.
- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient consultations and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas.
- Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Verify prescription information and patient details.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered and inventory levels.
- Collect blood, urine, or other specimens from patients for laboratory testing.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience. Two (+) year Medical Assistant experience preferred. Must be BLS & CMA Certified.
