Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Pediatric Associates, Inc., is the largest physician-owned pediatric practice in Central Ohio, with five locations around the Columbus area. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30. Our Pickerington location is hiring. Strong opportunities for growth. Great office work culture. Busy but with a fun supportive co-workers. Willing to train new graduates.

We are looking for Medical Assistants for our Pickerington office who are team players and who have a desire to work with pediatric patients and their families.

Must be willing to work at least 3 days per week (PT) or 5 days per week (FT) with some willingness to extend as needed. Closed most national holidays. Premium paid for pediatric experience.

Clinical responsibilities:
* Prepares medical record for appointments, including pre-visit data gathering
* Greets patients/families and escorts to exam rooms
* Accurately obtains and documents all vital signs
* Obtains all lab tests as ordered
* Administer age-appropriate vaccines
* Performs age-appropriate developmental screening
* Adheres to HIPAA regulations regarding protected health information
* Follows safety and emergency policies/procedures, OSHA standards/universal precautions
* Assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients and families
* Performs cleaning duties as assigned
* Documents in the electronic medical record

Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Proficiency in medical administrative support and patient care
- Experience in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Strong background in patient service and vital signs monitoring
- Previous experience in clinical settings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
