Project Delivery Team. In this capacity, the Vice President, Customer Engagements is responsible for managing the successful project delivery, pre-sales support, and customer satisfaction to NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. clients. The position is responsible for overseeing project management operations and personnel. Strong project and account management skills are required.Duties and Responsibilities:Account Management and Pre-sales SupportGo to person for region for sales support and account managementSingle point of escalations for customersSteering committee memberDevelop SAP relationships in the regionPre-sales support to the sales teamEstimator, proposal, SOW, contracts build and reviewProject DeliveryEstablish credibility with supported clients as their trusted advisorEffectively use and improve methodology approaches and supporting toolsFacilitate weekly project reviews with clientEstimate and plan projectsDirectly oversee multiple accountsUnderstand the project risks, challenges and help craft mitigating strategiesProvide detail status of the project to NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. management team proactively and upon requestOversee the work of others who are managing additional projectsResource allocation and load balancing in order to deliver projectsEnsure consistent delivery of projectsMaintain acceptable profitability targets across all projectsAccuracy in backlog tracking and reportingCustomer ManagementAccount management for assigned accountsCultivate professional relationships with client executive and project teamEstablish credibility and relationships with client decision makers, know their business, their industry, their culture, and their top prioritiesCreate an environment of extreme customer focus within the teamBe a decision maker regarding conflicting customer priorities/requirementsBe an advocate for customers within NTT Data Business Solutions Inc.Timely response to, and acceptable resolution of customer escalationsRenewal and expansion of contractual relationshipsActively participate and provide guidance to Steering CommitteeTeam LeadershipEducate project managers regarding value propositions, offerings, and methodologyProactively contribute to the deployment of the ongoing Implementation MethodologyContribute to NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. growth objectives by providing mentoring to new and existing employeesSpokesperson for NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. company objectives and leads certain MBOs every year and supports all other MBOs activelyProactively contribute to the effective development of project managers and consultantsBe an advocate for the project managers/consultants, convince customers of "right resource right role" where appropriateMake informed hiring decisions regarding supply/demand balance and right mix of team membersLeverage resources in other groups as appropriate to deliver work (Support, Field Consulting, Outsourcing, Subcontractors, global NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. resources, etc.)Position Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent requiredNine years ERP implementation experience (OR Masters degree and eight years ERP experience)Seven years ERP project management experience for cross functional SAP implementations across the entire application for multiple, full lifecycle implementations in various industriesFive years experience in SAP project scopingFive years experience in SAP project estimatingFive years experience in SAP project planningExperience across multiple industriesExperience leading strategic workshops with clientsPreferred:Advanced degree preferredProject Management training and certificationFive-seven years of pre-sales experience preferredFor Propel/TPS graduates, special consideration will be given regarding experience levelWe transform.
