We are looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our team
Job Description:
As a member of our transportation engineering group, you will be working closely with Project Managers and clients regarding project work; including performing roadway design, writing specifications, and preparing cost estimates, for a variety of road and bridge projects. The Transportation Engineer will also maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as solicit new business, and assist in writing proposals.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this role would include;
- Verifying accuracy of technical work
- Monitoring job progress and budgets
- Reviewing and preparing deliverables
- Preparation of construction plans and specifications
Education/Experience:
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- Understanding of transportation engineering concepts
- AutoCAD or Microstation experience
- Possess a PE License in Michigan or progressing towards licensure
Preferences:
- Related work experience
- 3D or OpenRoads Designer experience
