Summary
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for selling products to diverse geographies/industries.
Key Activities
- Target existing, past, and prospects with cold calls, follow-ups, and in-person meetings to introduce the company to customers in the Western US market.
- Collaborate with vendor reps for targeted calls and continuous product knowledge.
- Work with Sales Leadership, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Service to provide high levels of customer service and support.
- Ability to create a ‘buying atmosphere’ and ask for the order.
- Maintain and manage active sales pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Work with existing accounts to maintain business relationships and promote the company as the best choice for their packaging solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills required.
- Ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.
Educations & Experience
- 3 – 5 years of successful Packaging Industry sales experience
- Experience and knowledge in Packaging strongly preferred with direct food contact, Plastic Films, Corrugated, and Pallet Protection materials experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for email, in-person, and phone cold calls and follow-ups.
