The businesses serve local customers and markets around the globe, with a significant presence in developed as well as emerging markets.The Inside Sales Engineer is a key, results-driven position responsible for driving sales and proactively developing a target territory comprised of R&D labs, universities, and research institutions, reporting to the Inside Sales and Distribution Manager. This role requires an outstanding communicator who is highly organized and customer-focused, managing the full inside sales cycleincluding lead follow-up, customer management, lead generation campaigns, and cold callingwhile collaborating with the field sales team to ensure success on large projects.Job Responsibilities:Stimulates demand and secures sales for equipment & accessories with existing and new customers in assigned territory through outbound contact effortDrives sales by reaching out to both active and new accountsHandles incoming leads through phone, email, and webIdentifies and builds relationships with key decision-makers through friendly, engaging communicationMeets or exceeds sales targets by maintaining and expanding business with current accountsUses our CRM (Dynamics 365) to track customer interactions and sales pipeline and progressCollaborates with the field sales team on large business opportunitiesParticipates in training, marketing campaigns, and special projects to enhance businessOrganizes own work routine with guidance as provided by sales leadershipAttends sales meetings to discuss targets, forecasts, and market conditionsQualifications:3 years of sales experience with strong performance resultsBachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or sales requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySelf-motivated with strong prioritization and focusStrong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsFormal training in sales techniques is preferredAbility to travel at least 5% of the timeAdditional Information:7.5% 401K match4 weeks of paid time off10 paid company holidaysRecognition programCompetitive health insuranceCompensation Information:The base salary for this position is $65,000 - 78,000. + commissions. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
