Product Development Coordinator

Our client, a prestigious luxury beauty company, is looking to bring on a Product Development Coordinator. This is a temporary position to start ASAP with a tentative September 2024 end date.


Location: Culver City, CA- Hybrid schedule on-site 3x per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)


Hours: 32 hours per week (based on the needs of the team) Tuesday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break daily)


This individual will support the product development team in the delivery of remarkable products with the highest potential for profitability and brand growth. This individual will perform a range of administrative and logistical support duties to support the product development team.


Key Responsibilities


Meeting responsibilities:

  • Attending weekly cross functional development meetings to stay up to date on program progress and lend support where feasible.
  • Schedule and attend PD led weekly Workshop meeting providing timely agendas and thorough recap notes
  • Schedule, attend, and support quarterly Innovation meetings, helping with deck creation and meeting recap notes
  • Provide and set up development samples when needed for PD meetings.
  • Provide PD support with samples for strategy, retailor, or other meetings where product is requested


Development responsibilities:

  • Internal test panel - distribution, notifications, response tracking, follow-ups and results summary
  • Product labeling, organization and maintenance
  • Test results tracking for Clinical, Sensory, Expert Panel, and Safety testing
  • Free of requests and results distribution
  • Development sample distribution
  • Competitive product orders, in-store or online
  • Send domestic and international shipments, providing tracking and confirmation of delivery
  • Receive domestic and international shipments and deliver to appropriate PD personnel or organize appropriately
  • Review product samples and provide feedback to team members
  • Product mockup support for team visualization, meetings, or package function evaluations
  • Special projects; i.e., reformulation tracking, limited life kit development support, brand or PD hosted event support
