Disaronno Ingredients SpA is searching for an experienced Sales Specialist in Florida to join our company. As the Sales Specialist, you would cover the following territories:

NORTH SOUTH FLORIDA – CARIBEAN ISLANDS – CENTRAL AMERICA (including Venezuela)

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the area of competence by identifying opportunities and proposing solutions for the development of the business.
  • Contribute to defining sales and growth strategies for all products for the various sales channels (Retail and Food Service) in the reference region/territory.
  • Has responsibility for achieving sales and revenue targets for assigned customers and target region/territory.
  • Manages the promotional investment budget, optimizing investments according to a priority and profitability criterion, in line with the strategies communicated by the management.
  • Manages promotional policies with Distributor Food Service and Retail customers, and with some key customers of the area, according to the criteria agreed with the Management.
  • Proposes interventions in order to increase the numerical distribution share on the channel, to maximize the distribution of products and to develop sales volumes / turnover.
  • Follows the progress of sales, highlighting situations of deviation from the budget and promptly taking all necessary corrective actions.
  • Constantly analyzes the competition in order to identify opportunities and / or shortcomings of the sales policy in place.
  • Supports collaborators in optimizing promotional activities, in order to avoid excessive concentrations in the reference month.
  • Elaborates and proposes to the Management an annual sales and promotional plan.
  • Prepares a monthly analytical report indicating the general considerations for the month, the analysis on deviations, the trend on the numerical growth of customers, information on competition and the analysis on the efficiency of the assigned structure.
  • Constantly checks the progress of the credits in the area, intervening on the assigned sales force and / or directly on customers, in order to achieve compliance with payment times.
  • Coordinates its activities with the central back office for sales and logistics administration.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • English & Spanish Language knowledge preferred (spoken and written) Italian is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in Gelato/Gelato Equipment/Food Industry or similar in the area for at least 5 years
  • Self Motivated individual and Team Player
  • Valid Driver License / clean records
  • Willing to travel 12 to 15 working days a month
  • Knowledge in Food Service distributor operations and sales
  • Strong knowledge of the market of reference and its actors (retailer, distributor food service, such as Sysco, US Foods, PFG, and Gordon).
  • Good knowledge of the market competitors.
  • Good practical skills on Gelato or Pastry making.
  • Resides in the Miami area
