Fund Accounting Group ManagerThe Fund Accounting Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department, driving a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of activities associated with Net Asset Valuations (NAV's).Responsibilities:Manage fund accounting operations at a site or functional level including people managers as well as partner across department and business to develop and enhance cost effective solutions that meet client expectations and needsAssess new business viability against existing business capabilities and make appropriate recommendationsAssist and encourage employee career progression through defined career paths, management processes, appropriate training, and Professional Development Plans (PDPs)Evaluate risk and controls, including operational impact of changes in legislation, and ensure compliance to established controlsLead strategic planning process with business units and prioritize business development requirements to completionMonitor Profit and Loss (P&L), expense managements, budget, and planningMonitor, set, and achieve established department goals during day-to-day operations as well as serve as point of escalation for complex issues and manage resolution of issues and new business requestsDirect and participate in department and industry initiatives as well as support corporate governance and ethicsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsQualifications:10+ years of relevant experienceChartered Accountant / CFA / MBAExperience within financial markets and fund accountingExperience in financial services, client management, project management, strategic management, operational management, and resource and expense managementExperience with people management and working with multiple stakeholdersAdvanced knowledge of accounting concepts, financial services, and global financial marketsAbility to manage client relationshipsDemonstrated talent assessment as well as the ability to manage client relationshipsEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredJob Family Group: Operations - Transaction ServicesJob Family: Fund AccountingTime Type: Full timePrimary Location: Boston Massachusetts United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range: $155,360.00 - $233,040.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
