Regional Human Resources ManagerSodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Human Resources Manager, supporting our prestigious United Airlines client lounges throughout the East Coast, South, and Midwest. This position is based in the Midwest, preferably Cleveland, Dallas, or Tampa, with access nationally for our clients. We are looking for candidates with employee and labor relations experience, excellent customer service skills, and great time management/managing multiple priorities. This position will be home based remote with up to 30% travel throughout the region. Candidates with prior hospitality experience a plus (airport, hotel, restaurant).What You'll DoSignificant understanding of various federal and state law, particularly the application of California labor lawRespond to inquiries regarding HR plans, programs & policiesUnion experience highly preferredBilingual Spanish highly preferredEducate managers and employees on policies and proceduresAssist in developing and implementing new policies and proceduresInvestigate and resolve employee issues and recommend resolutions, based on policy, as appropriateInvolve those necessary based on incidents; HR People Center, legal, etc. If applicable, management of union employees; understanding of all contract rules/policies, and management of arbitrationProvide direction to managers and employees on implementation of HR plans, programs, policies, and trainingAct as the primary consultant on various HR initiativesProficient computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as neededComplete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysisAbility to engage in a variety of cultures as this role will interface with a diverse client base and employee populationOral, written and presentation skillsPromote diversity, equity and inclusion while supporting succession planning, training, and leadership development initiativesWhat We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Must have proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role. Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or travel industry preferred. Some experience with unions and labor relations. Strong understanding of Federal Labor Laws.
