Job Title: SAP IBP Demand Planning Analyst -- this is an IT role (not business/functional)

Location: Candidate MUST live within a 50-mile radius of Purchase, NY

  • Hybrid schedule, on-site 2 days/week****

Job Type: 6+ month, contract-to-permanent opportunity

  • Will start off working as a Consultant through Motion Recruitment for 6 months, and then will be converted to an internal employee of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SAP IBP Demand Planning (DP) and Inventory Optimization (IO) implementations and integrations.
  • Configure and support IBP DP and IO modules.
  • Provide thorough understanding and management of the demand planning process and inventory optimization.
  • Offer off-hours/weekend support as required.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for production support, job monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • No coding is required for this position.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP IBP DP/DS/IO and overall supply chain planning experience of 8-12 years. (This is not a senior-level role, more mid-level)
  • At least 1 full cycle implementation of IBP Demand Planning and Inventory Optimization.
  • Strong experience in IBP Demand and IO configuration and support.
  • Proficient in configuration and statistical/DS model knowledge.
  • S4-IBP integration for Master Data and Transaction Data.
  • In-depth knowledge of DP and IO Master Data in S4.
  • Strong understanding of the demand planning process and inventory optimization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including off-hours and weekends, if necessary.
  • Experience supporting SAC/Webi reports and integrating non-SAP systems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with offshore teams for production support.
  • CI-DS troubleshooting experience (web-socket experience is a plus).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a quick learning attitude.
  • Exceptional communication skills.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in end-to-end forecast to schedule design and development, including integration with other functional areas like MTD/OTC.
  • A proactive approach to experimentation and self-study.
  • Integration experience with DRP/MPS, Replenishment Planning, and Inventory Optimization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes is desirable.
  • Experience with integration from and to legacy systems to SAP S4 and IBP systems is a plus.
