Key Responsibilities:
- Accuracy and Reliability: Ensure tasks are completed correctly the first time, providing dependable support to the team.
- Excel Proficiency: Must be intermediate in Excel. Candidates will be tested and scores must be attached with the application.
- QuickBooks Expertise: Proficient in QuickBooks for managing financial records and transactions.
- Software Savvy: Adapt quickly to new systems, particularly Service Titan, which is used extensively in our operations. Must be able to navigate and utilize the software.
- Cost Management: Handle cost accounting by entering the cost of materials and ensuring the cost book is always accurate. Create estimates, proposals, and integrate them into the software.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high accuracy in all tasks, especially when the company is bidding on million-dollar projects.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of construction accounting experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (candidates will be tested).
- Proficient in QuickBooks.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
