Join usThe RoleThe Vice President Category Management will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and category management frameworks to drive sustainable cost savings, innovation, and supplier performance. This leadership role is accountable for overseeing key spend categories across direct and indirect goods and services and delivering measurable value in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep sourcing expertise, strong leadership, and a collaborative mindset to transform procurement into a strategic business partner.This position will also assist in the continued development and enhancement of the company's procurement systems & processes and will be a key enabler of our procurement and purchasing teams.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy Lead the development and execution of category management and sourcing strategies aligned to corporate goals, ESG priorities, and operational needs. Build and lead a high-performing category management organization across all major spend areas including corporate services, information technology, food & beverage, facilities, operating supplies, projects, FF&E, and merchandise. Partner with business unit leaders and functional executives to understand demand, align sourcing strategies, and maximize total value. Embed efficiency, operability, supplier diversity, sustainability, and innovation into sourcing strategies.Category Management Develop and execute category strategies that drive value, reduce risk, and improve operational and supplier performance. Lead major RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection in collaboration with business stakeholders and legal. Negotiate and manage extensive purveyor and manufacturer deviated pricing programs. Conduct comprehensive market and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and leverage scale. Ensure competitiveness and market prices through extensive benchmarking and proactive oversight of cost of goods sold. Monitor supplier performance, including cost, service, quality, and compliance, and develop supplier improvement initiatives.Governance & Compliance Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain sourcing and category policies, playbooks, and contract templates. Partner with Finance, Risk, and Legal to manage contractual risk and compliance.Digital Enablement & Reporting Provide significant input in development of procurement technology and reporting capabilities that enable delivery of category strategies and business goals. Play significant role in building a supplier marketplace, supplier data pipelines, and deployment of procurement technology to enhance visibility, automate workflows, and enable data-driven decisions. Track and report on sourcing savings, pipeline, and category performance to executive leadership. Continuously evaluate and improve category management and sourcing tools, scorecards, and metrics.Additional ad-hoc responsibilities will be needed as the program grows and matures, list above is not exhaustive.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Proven track record leading category strategies and sourcing across multiple spend categories. Deep negotiation and contract management skills, with experience managing complex, high-value agreements. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with procurement platforms, Artificial Intelligence. Experience with supplier diversity, ESG initiatives, and procurement-driven innovation.Preferred Attributes Passion for live entertainment, culinary innovation, and venue experience.
