Accounts Payable Specialist A large, well-established construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team in West Springfield, MA. This is a straightforward AP role focused heavily on data entry and invoice processing, supporting multiple entities and client accounts. Responsibilities Accurately enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely manner. Maintain and update financial records with precision and consistency. Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments. Manage AP functions across several business units and client names. Ensure all documentation is properly filed and organized for audits and reporting. Assist in preparing checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Input and maintain vendor information in the accounting system. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Experience working with multiple entities or client accounts is highly preferred. Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications AP experience is a must. Knowledge in invoicing, purchase orders, and reconciliation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Springfield, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
