A biotechnology company in California is currently seeking a new Contracts Administrator to join their growing team. In this role, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for providing all forms of contract-related support through all phases of the contract lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

The Contract Administrator will:

  • Perform routine and specialized administrative duties for Legal and Contract Operations
  • Track contracts through negotiation, approval, distribution, and execution process including the required follow-ups with legal, business, and finance
  • Assist with sending distribution memo emails for fully executed agreements
  • Maintain contract tracking spreadsheet, including keeping it up to date
  • Upload agreements, input data and maintain contract databases
  • Assist with coordination of emails coming into the contracts email inbox
  • Assist in the assigning of contracts for review
  • Prepare initial drafts of contracts and NDAs and runs redlines
  • Respond to questions and direct inquiries regarding contracts and other matters
  • Create and maintain department reports
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents
  • Maintain electronic and paper files
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of relevant work experience
  • Associate's Degree
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
