Responsibilities:

  • as the primary point of contact for the business operations for all HR matters including staffing, employee relations, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, employment law, compensation, and benefits.

  • and executes talent acquisition, recruitment processes, and retention strategies.
  • for new hire on-boarding, benefits enrollment, and personnel file maintenance.
  • progressive disciplinary system and assists management with employee relations counseling. Conducts all terminations.
  • comprehensive employee relations investigations when necessary. Provides summation of facts to management team and makes recommendations on appropriate course of action.
  • assesses training needs, motivates, and develops management team to maximize performance.
  • participates in Safety Committee and other Safety events .
  • the performance evaluation program.
  • in short and long-term planning, sets priorities to optimize time usage, adheres to schedules and plans.
  • direct reports to learn and grow and maintains current knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

  • degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
  • Resources certification, preferred.
  • minimum of five years of HR Generalist, Manager, or Business Partner experience; with at least three of those years in a management capacity; experience in a production or distribution industry, preferred.
  • in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • to work in a team environment with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels.
  • be able to handle sensitive issues with tact and maintain strict confidentiality of private information; commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.
  • listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • be willing and able to travel.
  • be flexible to shift assignments as required to meet both customer & business needs.
