Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Content Creator & Editor to join our team on a part-time basis, with a focus on the cannabis industry. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and editing engaging video content tailored for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. You'll have the opportunity to bring your creative vision to life, adapting one master video into various formats to suit the unique style and requirements of each social media channel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to grasp content concepts and align with our brand.
  • Produce engaging, high-quality videos and occasionally photo or illustration content for our target audience.
  • Use camera and editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, etc.) to create visually captivating content.
  • Edit a master video into various formats for each social media platform, considering their unique features.
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, particularly in the cannabis industry, to keep our content relevant and fresh.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in video creation and editing, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Strong understanding of the cannabis industry and its consumer base.
  • Proficiency in using cameras (including phone cameras) and editing tools like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with team members to understand and deliver on content objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt content to various social media channels, understanding their distinct characteristics and audiences.
  • Understanding of meme culture is a plus.
