Reporting to the Director, Sales & Customer Relations, Direct Sales Representatives will focus on new and re-market sales initiatives within our Zelienople markets. Direct Sales Representatives contact residential customers in the communities we serve, meeting customers at their homes to offer the best broadband and telephone solutions to meet their individual needs. What's even better is you can enjoy discounted services from our affiliate companiesYou'll have access to a number of career developmental resources to grow personally and professionallyThe chance to be part of a Top 10 company and high-energy employee cultureWhat You'll Be Doing:Prefer candidates with experience selling direct to consumer; yet will train the right person.Capable of selling products and services, including Internet, Telephone and additional related ancillary products and services.Effective in-person communicator, with excellent people skills and ability to accurately describe features and benefits, and capable of answering questions, identifying and overcoming objections.Independent and highly self-motivated with exceptional work ethic.Able to negotiate effectively and in professional manner.Provide a quality Armstrong Experience on every customer contact by introducing/promoting Armstrong services in a positive manner and resolving issues.Meet established individual goals and requirements for sales, sell-in percentages, work order accuracy, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Achieve established daily, weekly, monthly sales targets and quotas.Understands the importance of a consultative sales flow, which requires asking appropriate questions to determine customer needs.Believes in and promotes Armstrong's robust broadband services to customers, friends, families, and neighbors. Enjoys being an Armstrong Ambassador.Reconcile daily sales orders and keep documentation of sales orders / sales funnelsAccurately enters order information into an ICOMS billing system, including updating of customer accounts, telephone, and contact information. Protects all private customer information.Must be collaborative, flexible, and a team player. Works closely with Local System office staff (including BNLT: GM, OM, CMM, CSR, PT etc.)Work special events and other related projects and activities as required.What You'll Need:Sales experience or sales acumen.Strong communication and presentation skills.Customer service experience.PC / Tablet and data entry proficiency.Must be very organized.Positive attitude and capable of understanding the Power of Change.Understands and appreciates the value of a variable pay compensation plan based on target attainment.Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk (and stand) for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.Willingness to travel some overnight (sometimes over extended periods)Ability to work over time during some evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Must have a valid driver's license, with good driving abstract, reliable transportation/vehicle and applicable automobile insurance and liabilityWho We AreThe Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
