The Cost Management team resides within the Network and Pharmacy Solutions organization at Meritain Health and oversees payment integrity products and strategy, with a number of internal and external stakeholders that rely on the teams analyses and business expertise. The Sr. Analyst Business Consultant will use data and analytical skills to support financial and operational performance analysis, strategic initiatives, and customized solutions for employer groups. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly capable of working with disparate data sources, and can manage shifting priorities./ph3
Key Responsibilities
/h3pProduct Management:/pulliDevelop and maintain performance/trend reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making for various payment integrity services./liliPartner with larger team to collect, validate, and analyze data to support ongoing reporting needs and identify areas for operational improvement./liliAssist with group product changes, implementations, and data management./liliEnsure accuracy and integrity of data across multiple sources./li/ulpFinancial Reporting Analysis:/pulliDevelop and maintain regular reporting on revenue, claims analysis, utilization, and drivers; researching any anomalies./liliProvide support for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc analytical needs./liliVendor payment and group billing reconciliations./liliCollaborate cross functionally to answer questions or resolve issues./li/ulpProject Management:/pulliAssist in the development and implementation of initiatives to optimize product and process efficiency and effectiveness./liliUtilize multiple data sources in order to assist with identifying and quantifying savings and revenue opportunities./li/ulh3Other Duties as Assigned/h3pAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed./ph3
Required Qualifications
/h3pMinimum 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or related analytical roles. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and Tableau. Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic mindset, focused on continuous improvement. Comfortable working with and analyzing large sets of disparate data. High level of individual initiative - Ability to independently pursue and implement collaborative solutions in a fully remote role and an eagerness for continued learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be personable yet persistent across all levels of the organization. Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment./ph3
Preferred Qualifications
/h3p1 - 3+ years of healthcare insurance experience; TPA, NSA, or payment integrity knowledge a plus. Experience/familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.). Experience with presentation preparation - ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely./ph3Education/h3pBachelors degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree./ph3Anticipated Weekly Hours/h3p40/ph3Time Type/h3pFull time/ph3Pay Range/h3pThe typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $122,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
