We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team near Fort Meade, Florida. This is a full-time role where youll provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders, helping them overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic environment.
Position Overview:
- Location:Near Fort Meade, FL (surrounding areas)
- Assignment Period: Full school year
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs
- Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
Qualifications:
- Florida SLP DOH licensure required
- Master's in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their communication growth
